Midnite adds TrueLayer Pay by Bank for deposits and withdrawals in the UK

Midnite has introduced TrueLayer’s Pay by Bank as a new payment option, letting players deposit and withdraw directly through supported bank accounts. For high-risk operators, the point is simple: fewer card details, fewer steps, and a payment flow that sits inside the customer’s own banking environment.

1. Under the integration, customers can complete transactions without entering card details. Instead, they select the payment option, choose their bank, and authenticate the transaction using their normal banking process.
2. TrueLayer describes Pay by Bank as a method that allows payments to be made directly from a bank account through a banking app or online banking environment. Authentication can use a fingerprint, Face ID, or another approved banking security measure.
3. The launch is particularly relevant to digital payment services in the UK, where betting and gaming customers increasingly expect fast and straightforward financial journeys. That is the backdrop for operators putting more attention on payment infrastructure, not just sportsbook and casino features.
4. For Midnite, the new option adds another route for money moving into or out of player accounts and fits its mobile-first technology platform. The app-to-app flow is designed so a customer moves from Midnite into their banking environment to review and authorise the transaction, then returns to the platform.
