Atlaslive renews GLI certification in Brazil under federal sports betting and iGaming rules

Atlaslive says it has renewed its Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification under Brazil’s federal sports betting and iGaming framework. For PSPs, acquirers, and tech vendors in the regulated market, the point is straightforward: in Brazil, certification is not a one-time badge, it is an annual maintenance item.

  1. Atlaslive’s platform passed recertification under Ordinance SPA/MF No. 722/2024, which sets the technical, operational, and security requirements for providers in Brazil’s regulated betting market. The company said the renewal confirms continued compliance with those rules.
  2. The recertification covered three areas: technical compliance testing of the platform against Ordinance 722, an audit of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and a cybersecurity assessment with penetration testing and vulnerability analysis. In other words, the review went beyond paperwork and into how the platform is built and defended.
  3. According to Atlaslive, the checks verified that its infrastructure meets the standards for data protection, system integrity, operational continuity, and business resilience. That matters because Brazil’s regulated market is now in a phase of active supervision, not just licensing.
  4. Brazil’s rules require all betting system providers operating in the regulated market to maintain a valid certification and renew it annually. GLI is one of the certification bodies recognized by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA/MF) to validate technology providers serving the market.
  5. Atlaslive COO Mykola Vernydub said certification is “the point of entry” in a regulated market, but the real test is keeping it current as the platform and the rules evolve. Atlaslive also framed the renewal, together with the ISMS audit and cybersecurity assessment, as a signal to current and prospective partners that the platform is independently verified every year.

Atlaslive described Brazil as one of the five largest regulated iGaming markets in the world. For high-risk operators and payment partners, that means vendor due diligence is not optional theatre: a certified platform can reduce regulatory friction when selecting sportsbook and casino technology partners.
