PaysafeWallet goes live across all euro area markets after Eastern Europe rollout

Paysafe has expanded PaysafeWallet to all euro area markets, extending a digital wallet that combines cash and digital money management through the PaysafeCard app. For high-risk merchants and PSPs, the detail that matters is the payments plumbing: IBAN accounts, a personal debit card, SEPA transfers across the euro zone, and payout support in one consumer-facing wallet.

  1. Paysafe said on Wednesday, Oct. 28, that PaysafeWallet is now available in all euro area markets after being expanded in Eastern Europe. The product sits inside the PaysafeCard app and is designed to bring cash and digital money management into one experience.
  2. The wallet lets users manage funds through an IBAN account and a personal debit card, top up with cash via PaysafeCard, and load their account via bank transfer. It also supports online and in-store spending with a Mastercard debit card, mobile payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and peer-to-peer transfers to friends and family.
  3. PaysafeWallet users can send and receive SEPA payments across the entire euro zone and receive payouts directly into their account. For merchants operating in iGaming, online trading, and other higher-risk categories, that payout rail is the part that tends to matter once deposits are solved.
  4. Paysafe said its global payments platform is built for the “experience economy” and connects businesses and consumers across iGaming, video gaming, esports, events, travel, hospitality, online trading and digital commerce. The company said it had $167 billion in annualized volume in 2025.
  5. Paysafe Chief Product Officer Bob Legters said the company aims to “deliver innovative payment experiences to consumers across Europe” and provide “seamless, secure and flexible ways to manage their money online.” PYMNTS also reported in August that Paysafe’s digital wallets reached 7.8 million three-month active consumers in the second quarter, up 8% from a year earlier, with wallet growth led by PaysafeWallet in Europe and Latin America.

Paysafe also said in August that it launched a gaming arena for gamers, developers and publishers, and a new Merchant of Record solution with FastSpring. The pattern is familiar: wallet expansion, gaming-adjacent distribution, and merchant infrastructure around it.
