Advanced Compliance Technology launches Fraud Rings real-time intelligence tool for betting and gaming compliance teams

Advanced Compliance Technology (ACT) has launched Fraud Rings, an AI-powered feature for the regulated betting and gaming industry that ties together signals across devices, accounts, locations, behaviour, transactions and betting activity. The point is not another alert stream; it is a connected view of organised fraud, bonus abuse and location circumvention that compliance teams can actually work with.

  1. Fraud Rings builds a real-time bubble map that shows suspicious connections, alongside a risk score and measures of suspicious clusters, linked accounts, device overlap and unusual behavioural signals. ACT says the idea is to surface relationships that are easy to miss when each alert is looked at in isolation.
  2. The tool is designed to help operators spot fraud rings, betting syndicates, multi-accounting, account sharing, device manipulation, bonus abuse, VPN use and suspicious betting behaviour. In practice, that puts it squarely in the part of the stack where AML, fraud and compliance workflows overlap.
  3. ACT says Fraud Rings is meant to help compliance teams investigate faster, prioritise risk more effectively and make evidence-based decisions. It shifts the workflow from chasing individual events to reviewing clusters of activity and the links between them.
  4. The launch also fits into ACT’s broader product scope, which it describes as connected oversight across ID verification, geolocation, AML monitoring, behavioural analysis and sports integrity monitoring. For regulated operators, that kind of consolidation matters because the same bad actor often leaves traces across more than one control layer.
  5. Mike Venner, director at Advanced Compliance Technology, said fraud rarely exists in isolation and that the strongest indicators of risk can sit across different accounts or behavioural patterns. “Fraud Rings gives compliance teams a visual and connected view of those links in real time,” he said, adding that it is meant to help operators and regulators identify organised activity earlier and respond with greater confidence.
