Oddin.gg wins Kansas and Wyoming approvals, bringing its North American licensed footprint to 10 jurisdictions
Oddin.gg has added two more US regulatory approvals, giving the esports betting supplier a temporary supplier licence in Kansas and an Online Sports Wagering Vendor permit in Wyoming. For sportsbook operators, the point is simple: the company can now push its esports betting stack into two more regulated markets, with the usual compliance box checked.
- Oddin.gg received a temporary supplier licence from the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission and an Online Sports Wagering Vendor permit from the Wyoming Gaming Commission. Those approvals allow the company to provide esports betting products and services to licensed sportsbook operators in both states.
- The latest authorisations take Oddin.gg to 10 licensed jurisdictions across North America. The company says it is continuing to grow inside regulated markets rather than outside them, which is the part operators and PSPs tend to care about when they are mapping supplier risk.
- The approved product set is not just odds. Oddin.gg says its esports betting ecosystem includes trading technology, odds services, risk management tools and player engagement products, all built for esports wagering and intended to meet regulatory expectations as well as commercial requirements.
- Kansas officially launched regulated sports wagering in September 2022. Oddin.gg describes the market as competitive, with multiple licensed operators already in play, which makes product differentiation more important than just being another widget on the sportsbook menu.
- Wyoming is now another regulated market where licensed operators can integrate specialist esports products from an approved supplier. For North American sportsbook books, that means another route to add an always-on betting vertical that sits alongside traditional sports calendars.
Oddin.gg’s move matters because esports betting is increasingly being sold as a year-round product for sportsbooks that want something more than football, basketball and the occasional tentpole event. The company’s North American expansion is happening through state-by-state approvals, which is how regulated US betting usually works when everyone is pretending that one market is actually fifty different ones.
