São Paulo Civil Police blocks 100+ illegal gambling platforms and arrests fugitive in SP

The Civil Police in São Paulo said it blocked more than 100 illegal gambling platforms and arrested a suspect wanted by the courts during an operation on Wednesday, 22. 1. The operation, called “Ilusão Premiada”, was launched after an anonymous tip, according to delegate Maria Luísa Dallas Bernardina of the Civil Police in Capivari (SP), who is leading the investigation.
2. Police executed 11 search and seizure warrants in Ibiúna, Paranapanema, and Tatuí, all in the interior of São Paulo. The suspect who was arrested was not publicly named; he had been wanted for latrocínio (robbery followed by death).
3. Among the items seized were three vehicles, 13 mobile phones, eight watches, two notebooks, pen drives, a card machine, documents, receipts, and R$ 1,8 mil in cash.
