Pagsmile helps Aposta Ganha reach 98% payment conversion and lift user LTV by about 20% in Brazil

Pagsmile says its payments infrastructure helped Brazilian sportsbook Aposta Ganha raise deposit and withdrawal conversion to 98% and increase user Lifetime Value (LTV) by about 20%. For operators in a newly regulated market, that is less a nice-to-have than a direct line to retention, revenue, and fewer support tickets.

  1. The partnership began in January 2025, right as Brazil started implementing sports betting regulation. The brief was straightforward on paper and annoying in practice: stay fully aligned with the new rules without breaking user experience or limiting scale.
  2. Pagsmile provided an infrastructure layer built to handle high transaction volumes, with stability, security, high availability, and support for traffic spikes tied to major sports events. That matters because payment outages in betting do not just create complaints; they interrupt deposits, delay withdrawals, and push users to competitors.
  3. Aposta Ganha says the setup improved its operational performance enough to scale safely, expand its user base and transaction volume, and strengthen the full payments journey. Edi Henrique, CFO of Aposta Ganha, said the partnership helped the company grow with security while maintaining stability and service quality.
  4. On the Pagsmile side, CEO Marlon Tseng framed the point bluntly: in a regulated market, payments have to keep working without interruptions. The company says the new flow improved Pay In conversion, sped up Pay Out settlement, and reduced payment-related friction.
  5. The operational side also got lighter. Pagsmile says the better payment flow reduced manual interventions and the number of support requests, allowing finance, fraud, and risk teams to spend more time on analysis and prevention instead of fixing payment issues.
