WasabiCard to Bring Circle, Visa and Payments Executives to TOKEN2049 in Singapore on October 6

WasabiCard to Bring Circle, Visa and Payments Executives to TOKEN2049 in Singapore on October 6

WasabiCard will host “Stablecoin & Payments: Funds Flow” on October 6 in Singapore during TOKEN2049 week, with the conversation centered on a question payments people care about: how stablecoin liquidity gets turned into usable rails for card issuing, cross-border payouts and enterprise treasury operations. For high-risk merchants and PSPs, that is the difference between a token that exists on-chain and money that actually clears, settles and reconciles.

  1. The forum will be held at Raffles Singapore and is billed as a working session on the operational plumbing behind stablecoin payments, not a vanity panel about token prices. The agenda covers conversion and settlement, card issuing, cross-border payouts, treasury controls, fraud management and reconciliation.
  2. Two discussions will anchor the program. One will focus on on-chain capital markets, including tokenized assets, liquidity, market structure, institutional participation and global settlement. The other will look at what stablecoin payments need at scale: compliance, merchant acceptance, card programs, cross-border payments and corporate treasury.
  3. Circle’s Vidit Agrawal, Vice President of Partnerships and Business Development for APAC, is set to join the event, and WasabiCard is listed in the official Circle Alliance member directory. The lineup also includes Komil Desai of Visa, Dr. Daxue Wang of Lotus Technology, Yogesh Sangle of NIUM, Shukyee Ma of Plume, Yifan Zhang of Safeheron, Chye Kit of WIDTH, Kelly Sohn of Mirae Asset and David Sung from AWS.
  4. Ray Yang, Co-founder and CEO of WasabiCard, framed the event around settlement rather than payments branding: “Stablecoins are not replacing the payment layer. They are reshaping the settlement layer.” In practice, that is the part PSPs and enterprise payment teams have to make work with compliance, controls and user experience attached, not bolted on afterward.
  5. According to The Nilson Report’s September 2026 issue, WasabiCard serves more than 700 enterprises. The text provided cuts off after noting that the company “has issued more,” so no further figure is available here.

For the high-risk crowd, the useful signal is not the conference itself but the attendee mix: stablecoin issuers, card networks, fintechs, digital-asset firms and cloud infrastructure providers in one room, talking about settlement, merchant acceptance and cross-border payouts. That is where stablecoin projects stop being a balance-sheet story and become a payments integration problem.
