GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 sets July 29-30 agenda in São Paulo around regulation, B2B licensing, and Brazil’s betting map
GAT Events has published the official program for GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026, which will take place on July 29 and 30 at the Jockey Club de São Paulo. For PSPs, acquirers, and banking partners watching Brazil, the useful part is not the branding exercise; it is the list of topics now moving into the room: enforcement, sports integrity, responsible gaming, B2B licensing, PL 2234, physical casinos, prediction markets, and the federal lottery question.
- The event is set for July 29 and 30 at the Jockey Club de São Paulo. The agenda is built around the “new map of gaming in Brazil,” with panels on regulation and market enforcement, sports integrity, Jogo Responsável, B2B licensing, the PL 2234 bill on physical casinos, the regulatory frontier for prediction markets, and federal lotteries.
- The program will feature the GAT Brasil Ambassadors: Alex W. Pariente — Chair, GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 · Founder & Principal, Pariente Advisory; Neil Montgomery, Liliana Costa, Bárbara Teles, Ricardo Magri, Plínio Augusto Lemos Jorge, Bruno Omori, Amilton Noble, Sávio Prado, Iuri Castro, Georges Didier and Hugo Leite. They will act as moderators and panelists alongside authorities, business leaders, and specialists.
- José Aníbal Aguirre, founder and CEO of GAT Events, said the company has been working to bring the format to Brazil after more than 27 years as a trade show brand in Latin America. He also said the evening of July 29 will include an invitation-only dinner at Vicky Barcelona to toast the future GAT Expo Brasil 2027, while July 30 will be dedicated to a deeper dive into the ecosystem at the Jockey Club.
- Alex W. Pariente framed the core issue in blunt terms: “Brazil no longer discusses whether it will have a regulated market; it discusses how investable it will be. Legalization is the event. Investability is the condition.” For operators and payment providers, that is the real commercial filter: the regulatory framework is no longer the only question, and capital will care about the terms of access.
- Liliana Costa, LatAm director of World Gaming Business, said Clarion Gaming’s media outlet will join the launch as Media Partner, with a stated focus on specialized coverage, regional perspective, and an international platform for the conversations shaping Brazil and Latin America. The panel agenda on July 30 runs from 14h to 18h45, with accreditation from 13h and a networking cocktail from 19h to 21h.
For high-risk payment firms, Brazil’s significance is straightforward: once the discussion shifts from legalization to investability, the practical questions become licensing paths, enforcement intensity, and which verticals can actually be banked without turning every settlement cycle into a compliance project.
