SBC Summit will examine invisible KYC, AI-powered game design and cross-platform iGaming product strategy on 30 September

SBC Summit’s iGaming Product & Design track is putting product mechanics, compliance friction and player retention in the same room on Wednesday, 30 September. For high-risk operators and their PSPs, the useful part is simple: this is where onboarding, UX and data-driven design stop being buzzwords and start affecting conversion, retention and the compliance stack.

  1. The track will run on the Tech & Innovation Stage and will bring together casino operators, game developers and technology experts to discuss what makes a casino product stand out in an increasingly competitive market. The agenda follows the player journey from first registration through long-term retention, with sessions on smarter onboarding, AI-powered game design, cross-platform experience and loyalty strategy.
  2. The opening session, RegTech: Is “invisible KYC” actually achievable or just another industry fantasy?, will focus on signup drop-off, which remains one of the biggest friction points in player acquisition. Panellists Elen Barber (Managing Director – Online, SkyCity), Matteo Iannucci (Business Dev Europe, GeoComply) and Giorgi Tsamalaidze (CLO, Random Systems Georgia) will look at whether invisible KYC can speed up onboarding without weakening compliance standards.
  3. The next panel, The Art & Science of Game Design: UX, Data & Player Psychology, will examine how behavioural data and player psychology are changing game design. Ivan Korkin (Head of Account Management, Kanggiten), Tim Poole (Editor, Global Gaming Insider) and Marko Žulj (CEO & Co-Founder, Koom Games) will discuss using AI to interpret player signals for personalised experiences, while also asking where better design ends and manipulation begins.
  4. A further session, Cross-Platform Consistency: Designing Seamless Mobile, Web & App Experiences, will focus on making the player experience more unified across channels. David Evans (Chief Product Officer, Buzz Bingo), William Hansen (Sales Team Lead, Xtremepush), Alex Kozachenko (CEO, Turbo Stars), Ivan Ochoa (Board Member, Grupo GELSA) and Francesco Postiglione (CEO, Casumo) are listed as panellists.
  5. Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said casino players judge a product by how simple, intuitive and entertaining it feels, while the compliance systems, data infrastructure and commercial decisions sit behind the scenes. His framing is the usual operator reality check: the front end may win the customer, but the plumbing decides whether they stay.
