PG Soft launches authenticity checker for Fortune Tiger amid cloned-game issue in Brazil

PG Soft has introduced a verification tool that lets players check whether a game is the certified original version, not a clone distributed through illegal sites operating in Brazil. For PSPs and operators in high-risk verticals, the point is simple: if a title becomes popular enough, counterfeit distribution follows, and the damage lands on both players and regulated brands.

  1. PG Soft says the new tool is available in the casino lobby and is designed to confirm the authenticity of any PG Soft game. The flow is straightforward: players click “Accept” to verify their Transaction ID, select the matching ID, and click “Verify.” A confirmation screen then appears, and if the browser does not open automatically, players can copy the verification link.
  2. The company says its games undergo dual certification and testing by independent labs including BMM and Gaming Associates before reaching the market. PG Soft says each RNG (random number generator), game math, and rule set is tested to meet industry standards for fairness and integrity.
  3. The launch follows PG Soft’s recent formal entry into the Brazilian National Association of Games and Lotteries, ANJL. In the company’s own framing, the verification tool is part of a broader push around “safe and regulated” gaming, which is the kind of positioning operators and suppliers in Brazil now have to make work in practice, not just on paper.
  4. The trigger here is Fortune Tiger, also known in Brazil as “Jogo do Tigrinho.” The game became widely covered in the national press and turned into the most popular slot format in Brazil, to the point that its name has been used as shorthand for gambling itself. PG Soft says cloned versions of the game have been offered by illegal sites operating in Brazil, including sites described in the source as Eastern and Golden Triangle operators, with the Golden Triangle identified as Laos, Myanmar and Thailand.
  5. PG Soft was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Malta, with offices in Europe, Asia and North America. The company holds licenses in Malta, Gibraltar and the United Kingdom, and its games are certified by the independent labs BMM Testlabs and Gaming Associates Europe.
