Pure Interactive Picks Gr4vy for Apple Pay Processor Redundancy as Its Real Money Gaming Platform Scales in the United States

Pure Interactive has chosen Gr4vy, the cloud-based payment orchestration platform, to power Apple Pay across its real money mobile games, including Poker and Mahjong Solitaire, on iOS and Android in the United States. For a mobile-first gaming business where a large share of deposits already runs through Apple Pay, the point is simple: more volume means more pressure on payment infrastructure, and Gr4vy is being used to spread that load across multiple processors.

  1. Pure Interactive can connect to and manage multiple payment processors through a single integration. According to the company, Gr4vy is already processing payments across more than one provider, with additional connections being added as the business scales.
  2. Instead of launching a separate engineering project every time it wants to add a processor, Pure Interactive can configure providers directly in the Gr4vy dashboard. That matters when capacity needs change faster than product roadmaps do.
  3. Gr4vy also lets Pure Interactive control transaction routing between providers. If one processor hits a volume limit, transactions can be sent to another connected provider, which reduces reliance on any single processor and helps keep payment continuity as volumes increase.
  4. John Lunn, Founder and CEO of Gr4vy, said fast-growing businesses face a moving constraint: “the thing constraining them changes every quarter.” His pitch is that Pure should be able to add a processor because it needs more capacity this month, not because it planned for it two quarters ago.
  5. Gr4vy’s single integration covers Apple Pay across every connected processor, which is relevant here because wallet payments carry nearly all deposit volume. Pure Interactive’s team also gets transaction-level visibility across all providers in one place, instead of reconciling separate reports from each one.

Harold Castiaux, CTO at Pure Interactive, said the company is growing quickly and needs its payment infrastructure to keep pace with its user base. In practice, the setup gives Pure more flexibility to add processor capacity for Apple Pay without building a new integration each time, while routing around the limits it encounters as it scales.
