ZachXBT says he identified a French suspect behind two crypto-related home invasion robberies in France
The blockchain investigator says the alleged culprit, known as M1llionz and RichMilly666, was involved in two armed robberies in France in April 2026 that netted about $667,000 in crypto. For PSPs, exchanges, and stablecoin issuers, the interesting part is not the street violence itself but the traceable money movement: Chainflip, KuCoin deposit addresses, Ethereum, and USDT all appear in the trail.
- ZachXBT said the first organized robbery tied to M1llionz took place on 17 April and left several people hospitalized. The attackers reportedly stole about 7.2 BTC, worth $557,000 at the time.
- Three days later, on 20 April, there was a second robbery, with about $110,000 in crypto taken. According to ZachXBT, the attackers threatened victims and demanded access to their crypto wallets.
- In a thread posted on 24 August 2026, ZachXBT said the stolen bitcoin was moved through the cross-chain protocol Chainflip and then sent to three deposit addresses at KuCoin. From there, part of the funds — about $108,000 — was moved through Ethereum and converted into USDT.
- ZachXBT said he traced the transfers by matching deposit and withdrawal timing, then shared his findings with Tether and law enforcement. Tether froze 93,000 USDT at Ethereum address
0x47967fe27f07fb54e9f4daa2541c0f75e27ddde7, and the tokens will remain locked until a court decision. - He also said M1llionz is linked to the Telegram channel EMPIRE, which he described as promoting bank fraud services, and claimed the suspect had posted screenshots from an Exodus wallet while showing off a luxury lifestyle. No arrests or charges have been reported so far, and police have not named a suspect.
For high-risk operators, the practical takeaway is simple: once stolen assets touch a centralized venue, stablecoin issuer action and exchange records can become the choke point. ZachXBT also said he will keep investigating home-invasion crypto thefts and is asking victims to contact him.
