Betsul launches betting app in the App Store as Apple opens iOS distribution for licensed operators in Brazil
Betsul has released its app on the App Store, expanding from Android into iOS after Apple updated its policies to allow fixed-odds betting platforms run by companies properly licensed in Brazil. For PSPs and operators, the point is simple: iOS distribution is now part of the regulated Brazilian betting stack, not a side note.
- The app was developed with Vibra Solutions and is described as Betsul’s native mobile software, not a web-wrapper dressed up as an app. Betsul says it was the first native software in the sector to launch nationally, initially on Android via the Play Store.
- Andréia Oliveira, Betsul’s operations director, framed the iOS launch as a milestone for both the company and Brazil’s iGaming market. The company says the app was built with a focus on security and convenience, with the aim of making the player journey more intuitive.
- Apple’s updated rules for licensed operators require a valid license issued by the Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas do Ministério da Fazenda (SPA/MF), strict compliance with security policies, technical review of the platform, and an 18+ age rating. That means licensed status is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here; without it, there is no App Store distribution.
- The iOS version includes Face ID, Touch ID or device passcode login, push notifications in real time, and navigation optimized for betting, deposits and withdrawals. In practice, that matters because the app is not just acquisition tooling — it touches authentication and payment flows, which is where operators and PSPs usually care most.
- Betsul was created in 2019 and says it was the first betting house in Brazil to earn Reclame Aqui’s RA1000 seal. The company also says it offers 24/7 support and promotes responsible gambling initiatives, while giving registered users access to sports, competitions, casinos, live casinos, e-sports and instant games.
