Dmitry Druzhinski, Marina Levkovich-Ginzburg, Dmitry Punin, and Marina Ilyina named suspects in Pin-Up case in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) has said that four more people have been recognized as suspects in the same criminal case tied to Pin-Up. For high-risk operators and PSPs, the useful part is not the names themselves, but the fact that the case is still expanding and the agency is keeping the underlying roles under wraps.

1. After the extradition of blogger Kaisar Kamza from Vietnam and the announcement of Hekmatov as wanted, the AFM said the following people have now been recognized as suspects in the same case: Dmitry Druzhinski, Marina Levkovich-Ginzburg, Dmitry Punin, and Marina Ilyina.
2. The agency did not disclose what role, according to investigators, each of them may have played. It said that disclosure is restricted by the requirements of the law on non-disclosure of pre-trial investigation data.
3. The statement extends the list of people linked by the AFM to the Pin-Up matter, which is the only operational takeaway here: the case is active, and the agency is not yet publishing the factual matrix around individual involvement.
