Gr4vy partners with Unlimit to add local payment methods across Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Europe
Gr4vy has teamed up with Unlimit so its enterprise merchants can access card acquiring and local payment methods through an existing Gr4vy integration. For high-risk businesses, the practical point is simple: fewer separate integrations when entering new markets, which is usually where expansion slows down.
- Through the partnership, Gr4vy customers can offer locally preferred payment methods without building a separate integration for each market. That matters because every extra local setup adds time, testing, and another place for something to break.
- The payment methods named in the announcement include Pix, Mercado Pago, PicPay, OXXO and Efectivo in Latin America; M-Pesa and Airtel Money in Africa; WeChat Pay, GrabPay and UPI in Asia-Pacific; and MB WAY and SEPA Instant in Europe.
- John Lunn, Founder and CEO of Gr4vy, said the partnership gives customers “the flexibility to add the local payment methods they need as they expand internationally, without rebuilding their financial stack.” In other words, the selling point is a single global setup with local acceptance layered on top.
- Irene Skrynova, CEO of Global Payments at Unlimit, said payments remain “fundamentally local” because customer preferences, currencies and processing requirements differ from market to market. The partnership is meant to connect Gr4vy’s enterprise merchants to Unlimit’s global payment coverage and local capabilities.
