Technical failure shuts down Brazil’s lottery outlets for 2 hours on Wednesday

In practice, that meant no bets, no bill payments, and no regular in-person service during the outage.
3. The breakdown created long lines at lottery units, with customers waiting in hopes the system would come back. The physical storefronts were effectively stuck because the network depends on Caixa Econômica Federal’s infrastructure and uses a centralized, integrated system.
