ID Distribution Extends Thredd Deal Through 2030 for France, Spain and a New Corporate Card Program
French FinTech ID Distribution has extended its partnership with issuer processing platform Thredd through 2030, keeping its existing France programs in place while adding support for a planned Spain launch, a forthcoming corporate card program, and fraud transaction monitoring plus 3DS support. For high-risk PSPs, the point is straightforward: the stack is broadening from consumer issuance into corporate payments, and the processor is staying on for the next phase.
- ID Distribution’s current offering includes Vaziva, an employee benefits and payments platform with a card program used to help companies manage and distribute employee benefits, according to Thredd’s Tuesday, June 16 press release.
- Thredd has supported IDD’s consumer offering in France since 2020. The renewed agreement runs through 2030 and covers that business as well as IDD’s planned launch in Spain, its forthcoming corporate card program, and fraud transaction monitoring and 3DS support.
- ID Distribution Chief Operating Officer Henri Riou said Thredd has been a trusted partner as the company grew its card program in France and that the expanded collaboration will support its move into new markets and new corporate payment solutions.
- Thredd Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Fox said the company will provide the processing infrastructure, risk monitoring and payments expertise needed to scale across new use cases and markets.
- Thredd says it delivers debit, credit, digital wallet and ledger capabilities to more than 100 customers across 50 countries, including FinTechs, digital banks and embedded finance providers.
There’s a useful detail buried in the release: this is not just a renewal, but a continuation of risk and authentication support alongside card processing. For issuers moving from a single-market consumer setup into corporate cards and additional jurisdictions, that combination tends to matter more than the logo on the front page.
