Pay4Fun starts processing GaleraBet payments in Brazil

Pay4Fun, the first payment institution specialized in betting to receive authorization from the Banco Central do Brasil, has announced a partnership with GaleraBet, a fast-growing brand in the Brazilian market and part of Playtech’s global ecosystem. For PSPs and acquirers watching regulated betting in Brazil, the point is simple: more operators are outsourcing payments to local rails and to providers that can handle the compliance load.

  1. Under the agreement, GaleraBet will use Pay4Fun’s infrastructure for payment processing in Brazil. The company says this is meant to support a safer and more efficient payment experience while staying aligned with Brazilian regulatory requirements.
  2. Pay4Fun framed the deal as another step in expanding its work with operators tied to large international groups. In practice, that matters because these relationships tend to favor providers that can show they understand local onboarding, transaction monitoring, and the day-to-day friction of regulated betting payments.
  3. Playtech, which GaleraBet belongs to, operates across multiple regulated markets and is known for sports betting, online casino, and digital entertainment technology. Pay4Fun said the selection reflects confidence from global companies in its ability to meet security, compliance, and operational standards.
  4. Pay4Fun says its infrastructure was built for betting and includes anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), transaction monitoring, and anti-fraud tools. Those are not decorative features in Brazil’s new regulatory setup; they are the basic entry ticket for anyone trying to stay in the game.
  5. The company also said the partnership strengthens its position as a payments partner for both domestic and international operators seeking sustainable growth in the Brazilian market. For the payments side of the house, that usually translates into a simple commercial question: who can handle volume without becoming a compliance headache?
