Belgium suspends Napoleon Games’ €750 million Grand Casino Brussels licence; UK pauses BresBet and Bet St George; EGT gets UAE supplier licence

Three licensing moves from the past week matter for different reasons: a high-value Belgian casino concession was put on hold, two UK betting licences were suspended over money laundering suspicions, and EGT secured a supplier licence in the UAE. For high-risk operators and PSPs, that is the usual reminder that licence status can change faster than your onboarding checklist.

  1. The Belgian Council of State suspended Napoleon Games’ €750 million licence to operate Grand Casino Brussels.
  2. In the UK, the licences of BresBet and Bet St George were suspended on suspicion of money laundering.
  3. EGT received a supplier licence in the UAE.
