ClearStake launches Document Intelligence to detect AI-generated document fraud

ClearStake has launched Document Intelligence on July 28, 2026, a platform feature built to spot AI-generated document fraud and automate the validation of supporting financial documents. For PSPs and operators that live inside KYC, AML, and affordability checks, the point is simple: manual review is getting outpaced by machine-made paperwork.

1. ClearStake says Document Intelligence is designed to identify forged documentation created with generative artificial intelligence tools, which have made fake bank statements, payslips, proof of address documents, and other financial records much harder to catch by eye alone.
2. The product is not a standalone tool. ClearStake says it has been integrated into the company’s existing platform, so operators can plug automated document validation into current compliance workflows instead of bolting on another system.
3. In practice, the platform automatically analyses submitted documents, extracts the data compliance teams need for customer assessments, and flags signs of manipulation. That cuts down manual data entry and gives operators a more standardized review process across applications.
