Bitunix launches Visa debit card for everyday crypto spending and up to 11.6% annual yield

Bitunix has rolled out the Bitunix Card, a Visa-powered debit card that lets users spend crypto at everyday merchants and earn yield on idle balances. For high-risk operators, the useful part is not the slogan — it is the distribution: Bitunix is tying trading balances, card spend, cashback, and yield into one product flow.

  1. The Bitunix Card can be used at more than 130 million merchants worldwide that accept Visa payments. Bitunix says users can pay for services and subscriptions including Uber, ChatGPT, Amazon, Spotify, and Netflix, and use the card while traveling internationally. Payments are completed instantly, which is the whole point of a card product if you want crypto to behave like money instead of a dashboard entry.
  2. The card offers up to 8% cashback on eligible spending, with rewards capped at 1,000 USDT monthly. Bitunix also says eligible balances held on the card can automatically earn yield of up to 11.6% annually, depending on the asset and applicable conditions. In other words: spend on one side, earn on the other, with the economics tied to the user’s balance and VIP tier.
  3. To support payments across regions, the card is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal, plus selected regional payment platforms and local payment networks. That matters because wallet compatibility is often the difference between a card being “launched” and a card being used.
  4. The card is available through the Bitunix web platform and its iOS and Android applications. Users can manage card balances, transfer funds between accounts, track transactions, monitor cashback rewards, and control card settings from one dashboard. Bitunix says the card is designed to give users more utility for their USDT beyond trading.
  5. There is no issuance fee and no monthly maintenance fee. To activate the card, users must transfer a minimum balance of 100 USDT to their card account; Bitunix says the funds remain fully available for spending and do not count as an activation fee. Eligible users must also complete identity verification and reside in supported regions.

The launch was announced from Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on July 16th, 2026. Bitunix Chief Strategy Officer Steven Gu said the card goes “far beyond payments” and is built as a “high-yield financial ecosystem” for everyday global commerce — which is usually how these products are described when the real story is distribution, retention, and keeping balances inside the platform long enough to earn something.
