Atlaslive partners with FIRST.bet to add a Tier-1 sportsbook for regulated markets, including Brazil
Atlaslive has teamed up with FIRST.bet to add sportsbook technology to its platform ecosystem, with a clear focus on regulated markets where traffic spikes, local player behaviour, and compliance requirements all matter. For operators, the practical question is simple: can the stack survive peak events without turning into a very expensive outage?
- FIRST.bet is a fully managed sportsbook technology provider positioned as Tier-1, with deployments across LatAm, Europe and Africa. The company was founded by former SBTech leaders and says it has a proven track record in regulated markets.
- The supplier holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen). It is also GLI-33 certified and ISO-audited, which matters for operators and PSPs that need suppliers to sit comfortably inside stricter compliance frameworks rather than around them.
- Atlaslive-powered operators will get access to a sportsbook built and stress-tested for the Brazilian market, including high-volume traffic, local player behaviour patterns, and the compliance requirements of Law 14.790/2023. The product suite mentioned in the announcement includes Bet Builder, Fast Markets for in-play engagement, and Player Props.
- Atlaslive COO Mykola Vernydub said the partnership strengthens sportsbook capabilities for operators, while FIRST.bet founder and CEO Tom Light said the World Cup showed why this kind of track record matters: in his words, it can be the difference between holding players through a peak event and losing them.
For high-risk operators, the useful part here is not the branding around “Tier-1” but the combination of regulated-market credentials, Brazilian operating experience, and tools built for in-play volume. That is the stuff that tends to matter when a market gets hot and the payment stack, risk controls, and sportsbook all have to behave at once.
