Oddsgate to host September 23 webinar on Brazil’s shifting iGaming regulations

The session is meant to bring together professionals from different parts of the sector to discuss the current regulatory moment and the decisions that are coming next for operators and suppliers in Brazil.
2. The backdrop is the ongoing regulation of fixed-odds betting in Brazil, which is still moving forward while public consultations and new guidance continue to shape the market. That matters for payments and risk teams because the rules are not staying confined to licensing alone; they are reaching into product design, game certification, and how supplier contracts are written.
3. One concrete item already on the table is an update to Portaria SPA/MF nº 827/2024, which is currently in public consultation and covers authorization rules for fixed-odds betting. On top of that, the Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas do Ministério da Fazenda (SPA/MF) has already shared preliminary elements of a future Portaria Interministerial with the Associação Nacional dos Jogos Legais (ANJL) in a recent meeting.
