MTS MultiTransfer Draws Casino and Fraud Traffic Through Murmanskiy Raschetnyy Bank, with Complaints Dating From May 13 and a July Spike
MTS’s new MultiTransfer service has shown up in payment flows tied to online casinos, scammers, and other high-risk merchants. The route runs through ООО "Мурманский расчетный банк", which used to be a non-bank credit organization (NCO) and is now the operator of the payment system "Мультитрансфер", with settlements also going through SBP.
- The payment method was first observed on May 13 as
TSP: Multitransfer,Legal entity: ООО "МУРМАНСКИЙ РАСЧЕТНЫЙ БАНК",Receiving bank: MTS-Bank. Activity was modest at first, then picked up sharply in July, which lines up with aggressive promotion in Telegram channels. - In ad posts, "Мультитрансфер" is presented as a way to send instant transfers without commission to more than 100 countries by phone number or to a bank card, with cash pickup available in branches. The service is also said to be available in MTS stores across Russia.
- A few days later, the company rolled out another feature that is very relevant for payment monitoring: topping up an AppStore account with a markup of more than 100%.
- Users report that transfers to the CIS, Georgia, China, and Turkey are being promoted, but complaints have piled up. Customers say money sent to Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan never arrived, receipts do not show payment numbers, and support does not respond.
- For high-risk operators, the operational detail matters more than the marketing: once payments reach ООО "Мурманский расчетный банк", tracing them further appears difficult, and the method is already being used by fraudsters and online casinos. The source says MTS Bank’s details for "Мультитрансфер" have been found in illegal transactions around 20 times.
The setup is worth watching because it combines consumer-facing transfer branding, SBP settlement, and a bank intermediary that high-risk traffic can use as a sink. For PSPs and acquiring teams, that usually means one thing: this is not just a retail remittance product with a noisy Telegram campaign attached.
