Entain Q3 2026 NGR rises 2% as UK and Ireland offset Brazil slowdown

Entain Q3 2026 NGR rises 2% as UK and Ireland offset Brazil slowdown

Entain, the Ladbrokes parent, reported a 2% increase in net gaming revenue (NGR) for the third quarter of 2026, with the UK and Ireland doing enough to offset weaker performance in Brazil. For high-risk payment teams, the useful bit is not the headline growth itself but the fact that Brazil has become a drag after online betting was banned there in September 2026.

  1. For the three months ended 30 September 2026, Entain said group NGR rose 2%. Online revenue increased 3% in the quarter, while the company said UK and Ireland performance was the main support for the group numbers.
  2. In the UK and Ireland, NGR rose 8% and online sales grew 14% in the quarter, both ahead of Entain’s own expectations. That strength helped offset the pressure coming from Brazil.
  3. Brazil turned into the problem market after online betting was prohibited in September 2026, which Entain said increased regulatory costs and made the local business more competitive. Excluding Brazil, Entain’s total online NGR grew 8% year on year.
  4. Entain reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, which it had updated at the end of September. The company had already warned that underlying group operating profit would come in at the lower end of its range, between £910 million and £960 million, and it kept its £500 million adjusted annual cash flow target for 2028.
  5. CEO Stella David said the quarter showed “the strength of our execution” and reinforced “the resilience of our global scale business” and its ability to deliver “high-quality growth” consistently. In other words: core markets are still paying the bills, but Brazil is no longer a side note.
