Coljuegos Opens Claims Channel for Pending Balances on bingocasinos.co in Colombia
Coljuegos has set up a formal channel for users of bingocasinos.co who have pending balances or unclaimed prizes after the concession contract with BITIA S.A.S. was terminated. For operators and PSPs, the key point is simple: once a regulator shuts down an operator, payout handling becomes a controlled claims process, not an informal customer service problem.
- Users of bingocasinos.co who have pending balances or prizes to claim can submit a review request directly to Coljuegos. The request must be sent by email to contactenos@coljuegos.gov.co with a copy of the identity document and a bank certificate issued no more than 30 days ago.
- Coljuegos said it will review each case under the procedures already in place. In practice, that means the regulator is taking the lead on the post-termination payout process rather than leaving players to deal with the operator.
- The channel was opened after Coljuegos declared the concession contract with BITIA S.A.S. void because of serious breaches of its economic obligations. The decision was set out in Resolution 20260007594 of 24 April 2026 and became final on 7 July the same year, after the operator’s reconsideration appeal was resolved.
- As a result, Coljuegos ordered the contract to end and suspended BITIA S.A.S. from conducting games of chance activities immediately. The company was also barred from contracting with the State for five years.
- Coljuegos warned users that no employee of the entity will contact them to ask for money, passwords, verification codes, or banking information in connection with this process. The regulator also told users not to share personal or financial data with third parties promising to speed up the procedure or guarantee repayment.
Coljuegos said it is continuing to strengthen inspection, supervision, and control over authorized operators to ensure compliance with their obligations and protect the resources used to finance healthcare in Colombia. For high-risk payment players, the operational lesson is straightforward: when a licensed gaming operator falls out of compliance, the payout queue can quickly become a regulatory matter.
