DATA.BET adds crypto Up or Down markets to Prediction Markets with five-minute settlement options
DATA.BET has expanded its Prediction Markets product with a crypto-focused Up or Down format, live and historical data Widgets, and API integration. For operators, the point is straightforward: more short-cycle content that does not depend on fixtures, tournaments, or the sports calendar.
- The new Up or Down market type is built for crypto. Players pick whether the underlying asset will move Up or Down before settlement, starting from a defined price to beat.
- The product supports standard decimal odds and five settlement horizons: five minutes, 15 minutes, one hour, four hours, and daily. That puts it in a very different lane from longer-horizon prediction markets tied to political or economic outcomes.
- Short settlement cycles matter because they create repeated betting opportunities during a single session. In practice, that gives operators a way to keep prediction-based content active throughout the day without waiting for a major event to resolve.
- DATA.BET has also added Widgets that show live asset prices, target price lines, and countdowns to settlement. The idea is to make these markets easier to follow while keeping the user inside the betting environment.
- Live and historical price information now covers the Crypto and Finance categories, including BTC, ETH, gold, and oil. DATA.BET says this adds more market context for users who want to assess movement rather than just react to the current price.
The company launched Prediction Markets as a standalone vertical in April 2026, and this update pushes it further beyond conventional sports betting. For sportsbook and PSP teams, the relevant part is not the branding; it is the product shape: short settlement, crypto exposure, and an integration path that can sit alongside an existing sportsbook stack.
