Paybis rolls out major upgrade to its On/Off Ramp, adding React Native SDK, PayPal for US users, and broader Travel Rule support

Paybis has updated its On/Off Ramp with a faster integration path for partners, a new payment method for US users, and compliance changes tied to Travel Rule requirements. For PSPs and crypto infrastructure teams, the point is simple: fewer checkout steps for end users, and more of the compliance work pushed into the integration layer.

  1. Paybis introduced a new React Native SDK for its On/Off Ramp, which the company says cuts integration time to minutes. The product is meant for embedded buy/sell flows, where partners let users purchase and sell crypto inside their own apps and websites using cards and local methods.
  2. For the US version of the On/Off Ramp, Paybis added PayPal as a payment method for end users. The company says this gives US users a faster checkout and avoids the need to enter card details.
  3. Paybis also improved loading times across iOS, Android, and web versions of the On/Off Ramp. That sounds cosmetic until you remember checkout abandonment exists and payment flows live or die on friction.
  4. On the compliance side, Paybis said it has introduced support for Travel Rule requirements across the On/Off Ramp and is adding a way for partners to provide the extra information required for custodial wallets before the user journey starts. In practice, that means some of the compliance checks can happen in the integration layer instead of adding more steps during checkout.
  5. The company said it is also preparing improvements for unhosted wallet flows, with the aim of making Travel Rule data capture as seamless as possible across different transaction types and wallet models. Paybis described the broader direction as a move toward more headless integrations, where partners control the customer journey, brand, and checkout experience while Paybis supplies the compliance and infrastructure underneath.

Paybis is based in Riga, Latvia, and said the new features are live for eligible partners and customers on a rolling basis. Julia Kovalchuk, Head of B2B Product at Paybis, said the company wants to make the On/Off Ramp easier to integrate while raising the bar on compliance “without compromising the user experience.”
