Florida poker player Devon Alexander Shalmi arrested over alleged Allgames365.com sports betting operation

Devon Alexander Shalmi, a 42-year-old poker player from Boca Raton, was arrested on September 8 in connection with the alleged operation of Allgames365.com. For high-risk payment teams, the important part is not the poker résumé; it is the settlement stack the case describes: encrypted apps, credit betting accounts, and payouts moving through consumer payment rails and bank wires.

1. Shalmi faces charges of bookmaking, conspiracy to commit bookmaking, money laundering, conspiracy to engage in money laundering, concealment, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and running a gambling house.
2. Detectives say a confidential informant told them Shalmi was distributing betting accounts, setting credit limits, and collecting debts. Officers then conducted 30 undercover operations and received Allgames365.com accounts, which Shalmi is alleged to have handled over encrypted apps, including Telegram.
3. According to investigators, wins and losses were settled through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, bank wires and cash. That mix matters for PSPs because it shows the familiar pattern: consumer payment tools used as the back office for gambling settlement, not as ordinary retail activity.
4. More than $3m was allegedly traced to ILSJSF Solutions, a Boca Raton firm. Detectives also met Shalmi in person to swap cash, including at a pickleball club in Deerfield Beach and outside Seminole Coconut Creek Casino.
5. The next hearing is scheduled for October 10.
