Payments High Risk

A crypto player linked to 1win’s Global Crypto Ambassador network received a $1.749 million USDC payout after a seven-figure wager on Paris Saint-Germain, according to information shared with Finbold in August 2026. For PSPs and operators, the useful detail is not the football result; it is that both the deposit and the withdrawal were traceable on-chain through Ethereum, giving a clean example of how large iGaming flows can move in stablecoins.
The payout was made in USDC via the Ethereum network, and both the original deposit and the subsequent withdrawal were publicly traceable on-chain. In practice, that means the fund movement could be independently confirmed rather than inferred from a platform statement alone.
The player joined 1win through the network of one of the platform’s Global Crypto Ambassadors, following the recent launch of 1win’s Global Crypto Ambassador program. The program is designed to connect the platform with crypto-native creators, community leaders, and Web3 participants.
This was the second seven-figure payout from 1win within weeks. In July, Mia Khalifa received $1.65 million after placing a $1 million bet on Spain to defeat Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
The two million-dollar wagers within weeks of each other point to growing high-stakes activity on the platform. For operators and PSPs, that is the part worth watching: the amounts are large, the payouts are public, and the transaction trail sits on a blockchain rather than disappearing into a card ledger or an internal wallet.
Both cases also underline the role of stablecoins in high-value iGaming transactions. In the latest case, the full cycle from deposit to payout was conducted in USDC and recorded on Ethereum.
