Novig expands IC360 partnership ahead of the 2026-27 NBA regular season

Novig expands IC360 partnership ahead of the 2026-27 NBA regular season

Novig has expanded its partnership with IC360 as it looks to tighten controls around insider trading, harassment, and match-manipulation risk on its platform. For high-risk operators, the detail that matters is not the sponsorship noise around Novig — it is the stack of integrity tools being bolted on before a major sports calendar gets underway.

  1. Under the expanded deal announced on Monday, Novig will gain access to IC360’s ProhiTrade “Bad Actor” technology. The system is designed to help combat threats and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees, and sports organisations.
  2. The “Bad Actor” framework works through a centralised, encrypted registry of confirmed offenders and fraudsters that is shared across participating platforms in the network. Signify, a provider of social media protection to verify and detect bad actors, is also collaborating with IC360 on the initiative.
  3. The timing is pointed: the announcement landed on the eve of the 2026-27 NBA regular season on Tuesday, when the New York Knicks will hoist their championship banner from their first title in more than 50 years. Last week, the NBA and its official sportsbook partners also unveiled prop and parlay restrictions aimed at reducing match-manipulation risk.
  4. Scott Sadin, Co-CEO of IC360, said Novig was adopting “a full suite” of IC360’s services and pointed to Centralized Self-Exclusion and the “Bad Actor” program as examples of measures that can safeguard users and platform standards across the ecosystem.
  5. Novig has been pushing its “Just Sports” campaign, including a multi-year endorsement deal with actress Sydney Sweeney last month. The company said the first ad in the campaign drew approximately 12 million views on X and nearly four times as many views on Instagram over a 48-hour period; after closing a $75 million Series B in February, Novig was valued at approximately $500 million, while reports later put its valuation at roughly $2 billion after the Sweeney deal.

For PSPs and acquirers serving betting and prediction-market flows, the practical point is that integrity controls are increasingly being marketed as part of the commercial package, not as an afterthought. In this case, Novig is tying together platform risk controls, social-media monitoring, and a public-facing brand push before a new NBA season begins.
