Gaming in Spain sets October 15, 2026 conference agenda around regulation, player protection, fraud, and payments

The 2026 Gaming in Spain Conference will take place on October 15 at the ECIJA Auditorium in Madrid, with a program built around the regulatory changes hitting Spain’s licensed gambling market. For PSPs and operators, the useful part is obvious: deposit limits, player-protection tooling, AML/CFT, offshore competition, and payment setups that still fit the rules.

1. The agenda puts regulation and player protection at the center. Topics include the implementation of deposit limits between operators, the DGOJ’s new central algorithm for detecting problematic gambling behavior, upcoming regulatory reforms, and how the industry is responding.
2. The conference will also look at how licensed operators can push back against offshore supply and recover market share. That block will cover illegal gambling, fraud prevention, AML/CFT, and newer formats such as prediction markets and sweepstakes.

The payment angle is not an afterthought here. The program explicitly includes “payment solutions compatible with regulation,” which is the part high-risk PSPs will want to watch closely if Spain keeps tightening the screws while offshore competitors keep taking share.
