Brazil’s legal gaming market keeps growing, with $284.17 million in July taxes and $1.7 billion collected in January-July 2026

Brazil’s tax data for 2026 shows a market that is still scaling fast enough to matter for PSPs, acquirers, and banks watching the country’s gambling flows. The headline number is not just growth for growth’s sake: it also gives a rough read on how much volume is staying in the legal channel versus leaking elsewhere.

1. In July 2026, Brazil collected $284.17 million in taxes from gambling, up 6% from July 2025.
2. For January-July 2026, the government collected $1.7 billion in gambling taxes, a 76.86% increase versus the same period in 2025.
3. If inflows keep pace through year-end, Brazil could collect more than $3.11 billion in gambling taxes in 2026, which would be 60.8% above 2025.
4. For 2025, the legal Brazilian market posted $7.17 billion in GGR and $42.86 billion in accepted bets.
