Mozzartbet Group to exit Malta iGaming market on October 1 and shut Mozzart.com

Mozzartbet Group will withdraw from Malta’s online gambling market on October 1, ending operations under its Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence and closing the Mozzart.com brand and its affiliate programme. For PSPs and partners, the useful bit is simple: the group is concentrating on locally regulated markets, while Malta keeps cleaning up unauthorized sites that claim MGA links.

1. Mozzart.com has operated under Mozzartbet Malta Limited’s MGA licence since March 2019, but the company is now shifting away from that setup and prioritising markets where it holds domestic licences.
2. The broader Mozzartbet Group is headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia. It was founded in 2001 by Dejan Čakajac and now has operations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and North Macedonia, as well as in its native Croatia. Those operations will continue.
3. On the regulatory side, the Malta Gaming Authority published a new list of 11 gaming sites it says are referencing the regulator despite not holding MGA licences. The URLs were identified during August 2026.
4. The list includes royalgame-canada.com, royal-game.org, totobet.net, totobetdash.com, pokergame.vercel.app, x3bet-uk.com, x3bet-pl.com, betportal.info, betportal63214.com/en, playex.io and reddice.se.
5. The MGA said any reference to the authority and/or gaming licences said to be issued by it is false and misleading. For operators and PSPs, that is the sort of wording that tends to matter when counterparties are checking licence status, brand authority and marketing claims.
