SEON and Exist Software Labs extend fraud and AML coverage across Southeast Asia

SEON has partnered with Philippines-headquartered Exist Software Labs to give banks, FinTechs, payment providers, e-commerce businesses and iGaming operators across Southeast Asia direct access to its fraud prevention, identity verification and AML compliance stack. For high-risk PSPs, the practical point is simple: another route to deploy screening, monitoring and case management without building the whole thing in-house.

  1. Under the partnership, Exist will offer SEON’s full platform to its clients, including fraud detection and risk scoring, customer and payment screening, AML transaction monitoring, identity verification, and case management and reporting. That is the sort of bundle PSPs usually end up stitching together from several tools, which is precisely why integrations matter.
  2. Exist is positioned as the implementation layer here. The company says its systems integration expertise should let clients deploy SEON inside existing infrastructure rather than starting from scratch on fraud and compliance capabilities. For operators, that usually means less rebuild work and a faster path from procurement to production.
  3. The deal is part of SEON’s broader push into Asia-Pacific, where the company says it has recorded strong growth over the past year. The partnership also targets Southeast Asia at a time when digital transaction volumes continue to climb and compliance pressure tends to rise with them.
  4. The Philippines gets a specific mention in the announcement: it ranks among Southeast Asia’s fastest-expanding digital financial services markets. As activity moves online, banks, FinTechs and payment providers are left with more exposure to fraud and tighter compliance obligations, which is exactly the problem set SEON is selling into.
  5. Both companies are aiming at banking and financial services, FinTech, payments, e-commerce and iGaming. SEON SVP and GM, APAC, Troy Nyi Nyi said the partnership is meant to bring fraud and financial crime signals into “a single view” and help organizations in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia act on them faster. Exist Software Labs vice president for technology Sir Jonas Lim said the combined offer should give clients better visibility into risk and more informed action.

SEON describes itself as an AI-driven platform for real-time fraud prevention and anti-money laundering compliance. In practice, that makes this less about marketing language and more about a distribution deal: Exist brings local integration reach, SEON brings the screening and monitoring stack, and the target market is the set of businesses that cannot afford to treat fraud controls and AML checks as separate projects anymore.
