OKTO PAYMENTS goes live with A2FBR, processing Pix across six betting brands in Brazil
OKTO PAYMENTS is now live with A2FBR in Brazil, where it is processing Pix across six betting brands: Pinnacle, Matchbook, BetEspecial, Bolsa de Aposta, Fulltbet and BetBra. For high-risk operators, the point is not just “another PSP integration” — it is a live payments setup in a market where Pix dominates betting flows, and where speed and stability directly affect conversion.
- OKTO PAYMENTS says the launch makes it one of A2FBR’s strategic payments partners in Brazil. The integration covers the group’s multi-brand structure, with a dedicated operational setup behind each of the six platforms.
- The timing matters because Pix now drives 54.7% of all transactions in Brazil and more than 99% of payment volume in the betting sector, according to the source. Brazil is described here as the world’s fifth-largest market, with 25 million active bettors in play.
- Alongside Pix, A2FBR is getting OKTO PAYMENTS’ Internet Banking platform, which includes a real-time dashboard, detailed statements, Pix and internal transfers, bill and tax payments, invoicing, a multi-user approval station and granular user permissions. In plain terms: more control over cash management, fewer excuses for finance teams to lose the thread.
- Leonardo Chaves, general manager of OKTO PAYMENTS in Brazil, said the integration was “highly sophisticated” because six brands, each with its own operational structure, had to meet the same standard of Pix performance. He added that OKTO combines Pix infrastructure, treasury, banking and liquidity capabilities with dedicated operational support.
- Rafael Tavares, CFO of A2FBR, said the company chooses partners carefully and prioritizes transparency, compliance, security and operational excellence. He said the partnership strengthens A2FBR’s ability to deliver a fast, reliable and secure payment experience while supporting business growth with high governance standards.
For PSPs and acquirers watching Brazil, the useful detail is not just that Pix is big; it is that in betting it is effectively the rail. If an operator is running multiple brands, payments performance stops being a back-office issue and becomes a conversion issue.
