GAT Expo Santo Domingo 2026 set for November 18 as Dominican gaming market adjusts to Law 86-26

Santo Domingo is getting a fresh round of industry traffic after the approval of Law 86-26 on Games of Chance. For PSPs, acquirers, banks, and gaming vendors, the point is simple: when regulation shifts, the people who write the rules, sell the software, and process the money tend to show up in the same room.

  1. GAT Expo Santo Domingo 2026 will bring together local and international trade groups, operators, manufacturers, and technology providers on Wednesday, November 18, at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino. The event will run for eight hours of commercial exhibition and business-focused sessions.
  2. Among the participating organizations are the Federación Nacional de Bancas de Loterías (FENABANCA), led by Juan Antonio Del Jesús; the Asociación Dominicana de Bancas Deportivas (ADOBAD), represented by Leonardo Lantigua and Ariel Espinal; the Asociación Dominicana de Casinos de Juegos (ADCJ), led by David Moniz; and the Asociación Nacional de Bancas Deportivas (ANBD), headed by Ricardo Nadal. In a market changing shape, those are the people operators and suppliers want in the same conversation.
  3. The event’s sponsor list includes RAZA.do, a sports betting operator, as Diamond Sponsor. It will host the welcome cocktail on Tuesday, November 17, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Hotel Renaissance. Juancito Sport will participate as Platinum Sponsor, underscoring the presence of Dominican companies at the show.
  4. International sponsors and exhibitors will include BetConstruct, which supplies technology platforms for sports betting, casinos, and iGaming solutions; Gamanza, which focuses on platforms for regulated markets, gamification, and loyalty; and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), which is known for technical certification and compliance standards. For high-risk businesses, that mix usually signals where the market is headed: platform selection, testing, and compliance all move closer together when a jurisdiction updates its rules.
  5. GAT Talks will take place on Wednesday, November 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A panel with representatives of the four Dominican associations will be moderated by Lcda. Yamile Gutiérrez, founder and director of G&G Studio Legal, and will focus on the outlook for each segment under the new law, the challenges of implementation, and the opportunities for formalization and sustainable growth. The program will also feature Andrés Blanco, general director of Gamanza Engage, presenting the company’s marketing and loyalty strategy based on technology and behavioral psychology principles.
