Stellar Gaming to discuss mobile iGaming growth in Latin America at SiGMA North America 2026 in Mexico City

Stellar Gaming, the Brazilian gamingtech holding behind EstrelaBet, will join the first SiGMA North America 2026 in Mexico City on September 1-3. For PSPs and payment teams serving high-risk verticals, the interesting bit is not the conference itself; it is the combination of mobile-first user behavior and instant payment rails that operators are now treating as part of the acquisition funnel.

  1. Fellipe Fraga, Chief Business Officer at Stellar Gaming, will speak on September 2 from 13:15 to 13:30 with the keynote “LATAM’s Mobile Populace: Winning the Next 50M iGaming Players”. The session will focus on how mobile is shaping the expansion of the betting market in Latin America and what operators need to do to reach a new generation of users whose smartphone is the main access point.
  2. According to SiGMA, more than 75% of iGaming traffic in Latin America already comes from smartphones, which makes mobile the region’s main betting channel. In practice, that pushes product, payments, and live-betting flows into the same conversation: if the checkout or deposit path is clunky, the user experience is clunky.
  3. Fraga’s presentation is set to cover the mix of user experience, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and instant payment solutions such as Pix and SPEI. The stated goal is to improve conversion, speed up live betting experiences, and increase engagement among mobile-first consumers.
  4. SiGMA North America 2026 will take place at Centro Banamex in Mexico City and is expected to draw around 4,000 participants, including 1,000 operators, more than 150 speakers, and 200 exhibitors and sponsors. The agenda is built around regulation, technology, fintech, player acquisition and retention, digital marketing, innovation, and international expansion.

For high-risk payment providers, the signal is straightforward: Latin America’s iGaming growth story is increasingly a mobile-and-payments story, and operators are openly talking about instant payment methods as part of the product stack, not a back-office afterthought.
