Stake rebrands Stake Engine as Engine and opens its content pipeline to the wider iGaming industry

Stake has turned Stake Engine into Engine and is now offering its technology, content, and creator ecosystem to operators beyond its own brand. For PSPs and gaming operators, the important part is the distribution model: a single integration, one monthly invoice, and a content pipeline that already shows serious scale.

  1. Engine is no longer just a Stake-side content tool. According to the announcement, the platform will now be available to operators across the betting and gaming industry, with content distributed via a single integration.
  2. The numbers are already large enough to matter. Games built on Engine have generated more than $23 billion in total turnover from over 9.7 billion bets placed, and the platform says it has more than 1,000 individual game creators building on it.
  3. Engine says more than 250 new titles are being produced each week. That turns the platform from a closed content feed into an open pipeline, where developers and creators build games through Engine and partner operators tap into the resulting catalogue.
  4. Every game distributed through Engine will use provably fair mechanics, so games can be independently verified. In practical terms, Engine is positioning this as a content layer with built-in transparency rather than just another game distributor.
  5. The commercial setup is built around a single standardised contract for every operator and creator, with Engine handling settlement across all creators through one monthly invoice. Operators keep the substantial majority of revenue generated, which is the part most finance teams will care about before they ask anyone else for a demo.

Stake co-founder Ed Craven said the move takes the Engine model beyond Stake and aims to help creators build for audiences across the industry. Hayden Bruin, head of operations at Engine, said the goal has always been to make building and launching games dramatically easier for developers.
