Big Daddy Gaming secures UKGC supplier licence as it expands into the UK market

Big Daddy Gaming says it has secured a UKGC supplier licence, giving the slots studio another regulatory route into Britain’s regulated gambling market. For operators and aggregators, the point is simple: the company can now pitch its content in the UK, but distribution still depends on licence conditions, technical requirements, and commercial agreements.

  1. According to the company, the UK Gambling Commission approval is part of a broader regulatory footprint that already includes licences from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). Big Daddy Gaming says those approvals support its plan to build distribution opportunities across regulated European markets.
  2. The UK Gambling Commission oversees gambling licensing in Great Britain, and a supplier licence is one of the gatekeeping mechanisms that determines which businesses can provide products or services to licensed operators. In practice, that makes the approval relevant for any operator deciding whether to add Big Daddy Gaming to its content stack.
  3. The company is careful not to oversell what the licence does. A supplier approval is not a blanket promise that every game can be offered by every operator; product requirements, technical standards, contractual arrangements and other obligations can still shape what actually gets distributed.
  4. Big Daddy Gaming says it is continuing to develop relationships with operators and aggregators, while new games are in development and further partnerships are anticipated. The practical effect of the UK approval will depend on the scope of the authorisation and how those relationships develop.
  5. The studio has also identified Los Luchadores as its next planned release. The company says the title is expected to include its first Double Gamble Feature and a Buy Extra Spins option, with availability determined by the final release and the markets in which the game is approved for distribution.

For high-risk PSPs and acquirers, this is the usual reminder that regulatory permission is only one layer of the stack. A supplier licence opens the door, but content rollout still runs through operator due diligence, market-by-market approvals, and whatever compliance plumbing sits behind the integration.
