NFL renews sports betting partnerships with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming for 2026 season
The NFL has signed new commercial agreements with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming ahead of the 2026 season. For sportsbook operators, the important part is not just logo rights: the deal also ties in official data, in-stadium visibility and a set of integrity rules the league wants everyone to follow.
- DraftKings and FanDuel have been NFL partners in the sports betting category since 2021. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is also extending its relationship with the league, which already covered collectibles and official products. Under the new agreements, all three operators can use NFL brands to promote betting services on digital platforms and in physical locations in the United States.
- The partners will have a presence at the league’s biggest events, including the Super Bowl and the annual Draft. They also get access to VIP and hospitality experiences, plus advertising inventory across the NFL’s own digital platforms. That is the real commercial payoff here: not just sponsorship, but a way to sit inside the league’s highest-value media moments.
- Official sports data sits at the center of the arrangement. DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics can use real-time play-by-play statistics, Next Gen Stats and BetVision through Genius Sports, the NFL’s exclusive data provider. For sportsbooks, this matters because official data is what powers live betting products and the customer-facing screens that keep bettors engaged.
- NFL executive vice president and chief revenue officer Renie Anderson said the league values having three partners that share its view on innovation and game integrity, and that it expects to work with them in the next phase of sports betting in the United States. The operators also committed to the NFL’s integrity policies, information sharing and responsible gambling campaigns.
- As part of the deal, the operators agreed to prohibit bets the league considers risky or questionable, including wagers related to officiating or injuries, as well as bets whose outcome can be known in advance or easily manipulated by one person. DraftKings also remains the NFL’s official daily fantasy sports partner, a role it has held since 2019, with exclusive rights to certain NFL brands and intellectual property.
For high-risk PSPs and acquirers, the useful signal is straightforward: the NFL is continuing to formalize sports betting as a branded, data-heavy distribution channel. That means more official-data products, more league-controlled inventory, and tighter constraints around what kinds of wagers the league is willing to attach its name to.
