Megan Fox launches paid-content platform Subs with OnlyFans co-founder Tim Stokely, and the site crashed before launch
Megan Fox has joined Tim Stokely, one of the creators of OnlyFans, to launch Subs, a paid-content platform built around direct fan access. For the high-risk payments crowd, the interesting part is not the celebrity branding; it’s the payment spike before launch, the monthly subscription model, and the fact that demand reportedly knocked the site over before it fully got going.
- Fox announced Subs as her own “exclusive paid content” site and said the platform will feature videos, photos, and posts “you won’t find anywhere else.” She also posted teaser images and videos, including pool footage, to promote the launch.
- The site reportedly went live through
meganfox.worldinsideSubs.com, with Fox named as a co-owner. The company said she is “permanently collaborating” on platform development and is the main creator of the exclusive content that will appear there. - The launch included a
$20monthly promotion for users who wanted early access. According to the report, millions of fans signed up for the first payment and the site collapsed before it could properly start. - Fox framed the project as a direct-to-fan setup where women control the platform, the audience, and the image. In the press release, she said: “I’m interested in what happens when women control all three things.”
- The new service is also meant to be more interactive, with messaging and a more personal channel to Fox. On Instagram, she described the first video as “a neo-noir erotic thriller,” and the post drew nearly two million likes and more than 12,000 comments.
Stokely said Fox’s experience as a globally known figure helps her understand the limits artists faced before direct-content platforms expanded. For PSPs and acquirers, this is the usual story: a subscription product, celebrity-driven traffic, and a launch-day volume spike that can expose whether the stack is built for real demand or just press-release demand.
