Tennisi exits the Russian B2C segment and will transfer its sportsbook platform to a new owner

Tennisi is leaving the Russian B2C segment and will hand over its sportsbook platform to a new owner, along with all customer data. For payment and risk teams, the only thing that matters here is the separation: the company says it will concentrate on technology for betting and prediction markets instead of running the consumer-facing book.

  1. Tennisi said it is exiting the Russian B2C segment. That means the company is stepping away from the consumer-facing sportsbook business in Russia, rather than just reshuffling management or changing a local partner.
  2. The sportsbook platform will be transferred to a new owner together with all customer data. For PSPs, acquirers, and banks, that is the practical detail: the operating entity, the customer base, and the associated data set are moving in one package.
  3. After the transfer, Tennisi will focus on technology for betting and prediction markets. In other words, the company is moving from direct B2C operation to the infrastructure side of the business.
