Pixbet says Legitimuz technology sped up user onboarding and tightened compliance in Brazil
Pixbet says it has integrated Legitimuz into its operation to make registration faster while keeping identity checks and risk controls in place. For operators in Brazil’s newly regulated sports betting market, that is the whole job description: know the customer, reduce fraud, and do it without turning onboarding into a brick wall.
- In a video released by Legitimuz, Pixbet representatives said the company’s technology is now part of the platform’s operation, helping make onboarding “faster and safer.” The operator framed user identification at sign-up as a core requirement for keeping the business aligned with regulatory demands.
- Pixbet said the integration with Legitimuz was completed in a few weeks and included ongoing support from both teams throughout the process. The company said its teams continue to work together to improve the product while maintaining high performance and compliance with the regulation.
- The operator also highlighted a shorter registration flow. It said the reuse of previously validated documents lets it cut onboarding steps without weakening security controls, with the stated effect of reducing friction, lowering fraud attempts, and improving new-user conversion rates.
- Pixbet added that Legitimuz support matters in day-to-day operations, pointing to technical availability and daily alerts used in risk analysis. In practice, that means the verification stack is not just a front-end KYC (Know Your Customer) layer; it is part of the operator’s ongoing risk process.
- The backdrop is Brazil’s regulation of sports betting, which has pushed identity verification into a strategic position for operators and technology vendors. On paper that is compliance; in practice it is also a conversion problem, because every extra step in the signup flow can cost real users.
