SOFTSWISS and WorldGaming to Host Live Panel on 2027 iGaming Trends on 29 October 2026

SOFTSWISS and WorldGaming will host a LinkedIn Live panel, “2027 iGaming Trends: Turning Insights into Action,” on 29 October 2026 at 14:00 CET. For operators and PSPs in regulated markets, the point is straightforward: acquisition is getting more expensive, and the old bonus-heavy playbook is getting harder to defend.

  1. The discussion is built around the 2027 iGaming Trends report, the fifth edition of SOFTSWISS’ annual research, produced in partnership with WorldGaming (formerly Clarion Gaming).
  2. The report draws on over 65 expert interviews, a survey of more than 500 industry professionals, and analysis of over 480,000 media headlines. That is the data set the panel will use to talk about what is changing in player acquisition, trust-building, and competitiveness.
  3. Robin Harrison, Global Content Director B2B at WorldGaming, and Pavel Kaplunov, Head of Content Marketing at SOFTSWISS, will examine a set of questions that matter in regulated markets: what replaces bonuses as the default growth engine, whether simplicity can become an advantage, and how much certification, transparent reviews, and responsible gambling practices affect player choice.
  4. The panel will also look at who influences player choice today — operators, affiliates, or game providers — and what iGaming can borrow from fintech, e-commerce, and other industries without breaking when the rules get tight. That last part is usually where the nice ideas run into compliance, payments, and local market differences.
  5. Pavel Kaplunov said the iGaming industry still lacks a single source of truth because data and insights are scattered across different sources. He said the report aims to close that gap by looking beyond trends and exploring the data behind them, with the goal of helping operators shape iGaming strategies in 2027 and beyond.

Kaplunov also noted that what works in one market can fail in the next because of differences in regulation, payments, player expectations, or how people discover brands. For high-risk operators and their payment partners, that is the whole game: knowing which lessons travel, and which ones need to stay local.
