USDT0 Launches on Stellar, Linking Tether’s $180+ Billion USDT Liquidity to a New Payments Rail

USDT0 Launches on Stellar, Linking Tether’s $180+ Billion USDT Liquidity to a New Payments Rail

USDT0 has launched on the Stellar Network, giving payment providers, fintechs and treasury teams access to Tether’s $180+ billion USDT ecosystem through Stellar. For high-risk operators, the point is simple: fewer moving parts when you need to move digital dollars across networks, settle faster, and avoid juggling separate USDT versions.

  1. USDT0 said its Stellar launch connects the network to Tether’s broader USDT ecosystem, so businesses can use one consistent USDT asset across multiple blockchains while still tapping Stellar’s payments infrastructure.
  2. The company says the setup gives direct access to Tether’s $180+ billion USDT liquidity for cross-border payments and settlement, plus 24/7 global money movement on Stellar.
  3. USDT0 is also positioning the integration for treasury operations and financial applications that do not want to manage separate versions of USDT across different ecosystems. In practice, that matters when a business wants one digital dollar stack across payment flows, reserves, and internal treasury moves.
  4. USDT0 Co-Founder Lorenzo Romagnoli said Stellar’s role is to serve as the payments base while USDT0 connects it to Tether’s global dollar liquidity. He said that gives payment firms, fintechs and treasury teams a way to serve global markets without rebuilding dollar liquidity network by network.
  5. Stellar CEO & Executive Director Denelle Dixon said Stellar has been trusted for cross-border payments for more than a decade, and that adding USDT0 strengthens the network’s payments stack. Stellar said it has provided payment infrastructure since 2014 for remittances, financial inclusion initiatives, aid distribution and international payments.

USDT0 said its network has facilitated more than $100 billion in value transferred across 29 blockchain ecosystems since launching in January 2025. That is the part high-risk operators will care about: scale and existing flow, not just a fresh logo on a chain.
