Swipe Games turns short-form video into a casino format for the TikTok generation

Swipe Games founder and CEO George Yashin is trying to turn a familiar social-media habit into an iGaming product: short videos, three to five seconds to act, and a result revealed at the end of the clip. For casino operators and PSPs, the point is not the marketing gloss; it is that the product sits somewhere between crash games and betting, with a feed-style interface that may be easier for younger players to understand than a traditional casino lobby.

  1. Yashin says the idea came during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, when he tried to place a football bet and found the interface so hard to use that he went to a betting shop to ask how to do it. After that, he looked at casino games and felt they still looked a lot like the slot machines he remembered from years earlier.
  2. He describes the core concept as combining “the really great monetisation of randomness in casino games with the attention loop of social media platforms.” In practical terms, that means asking whether a player would bet on the result of a short video or a short TikTok, rather than picking from a standard lobby.
  3. Swipe Games is a Cyprus-based business that began sales late last year and says it has already gained traction across the industry. The company is still early in commercial terms, but it is positioning swipe games as a category of its own rather than as a variation of existing slots or live casino content.
  4. The product itself is built around an endless feed of short videos. Players have three to five seconds to choose between three possible outcomes; in a football penalty shoot-out game, for example, that can mean goal, miss or save. The result is shown when the clip ends, and players can swipe up if they do not want that game.
  5. Yashin says, “We are as quick as crash games, but the pattern and the feel are more like betting.” The company currently has 10 games covering themes such as football and cars, with content deliberately based around short-form video rather than a conventional game-launch flow.
