1,065 suspected betting sites appeared in four days as Brazil’s legal market lapse opened space for unlicensed operators
LegitBet’s monitoring for ANJL recorded 1,065 new suspected sites aimed at Brazilian users between October 29 and November 1, with 540 confirmed. For high-risk PSPs, the point is simple: when licensed operators lose their legal footing, the unlicensed side does not wait politely at the door.
- According to the four latest daily reports produced by LegitBet for the Associação Nacional de Jogos e Loterias (ANJL) and obtained by BNLData, the first week without a regulated market produced a sharp rise in suspected betting sites targeting Brazil. Between Thursday (29/10) and Sunday (1/11), the monitor logged 1,065 new suspected sites, 540 of them confirmed after verification as online betting and gaming platforms. That works out to an average of 11 new suspected addresses per hour, with nearly six confirmed.
- The timing matters. Under the deadlines set by MP 1.394/2026, published on September 25, the authorizations of legal operators expired on October 25. In practice, anyone looking to bet in Brazil now finds supply outside the law.
- Looking at a ten-day window from 23/10 to 1/11, LegitBet detected 4,237 sites and confirmed 2,103, which is more than 210 confirmed sites per day. Since monitoring began, the database has accumulated 61,774 suspected sites and 34,785 confirmed sites.
- The most telling burst came on Saturday (31/10). Between 13h11 and 13h34, the system recorded 60 confirmed domains from the 37bet and r8bet families, including sequences such as 37bet17, 37bet19, 37bet20 and r8bet09, r8bet11, r8bet12, running through to 37bet99 and r8bet98. Almost all of them offered the same pitch: deposit bonus, PIX payments, free spins, and withdrawals.
- The pattern repeats across the week with different names. On Friday (30/10), the 851win family appeared across eight domains; on Sunday (1/11), 6575bet surfaced in seven versions across .bet, .cc, .com, .org, and .top, with and without numbers; on Thursday (29/10), 746win was the most recurring. More than 80% of confirmed sites have digits in the name, a common marker for networks that switch domains as soon as one gets blocked.
The reports also describe the user flow on these pages: sign-up with just a mobile number or CPF, PIX deposits, and a flood of bonuses. One of the offers cited is a “bonus of up to R$ 1 million per invite,” which is the kind of headline that tells you exactly what kind of market vacuum is being filled.
