Digitain powers LuckyBet.ee’s launch as a licensed operator in Estonia
Digitain has partnered with LuckyBet.ee for its launch in Estonia, where the operator is licensed by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA). For PSPs and payment teams, the useful detail is simple: this is a regulated-market rollout built around a full iGaming stack, including payments, and the operator is already talking about expansion beyond Estonia.
- Digitain says it is providing LuckyBet.ee with a full turnkey iGaming solution, built on its platform and a suite covering sportsbook, CRM, affiliates, and payments. In practice, that means the operator is not stitching together a launch from separate vendors; it is going live with a single technology and payments layer from day one.
- LuckyBet.ee is an online sportsbook and casino operator authorized by EMTA. Roman Račko, co-founder and CEO of LuckyBet.ee, framed the licensing process as a signal to players and partners that the company is financially stable and technically reliable.
- Račko also said Estonian players have become demanding on payment speed, mobile quality, and security. That matters for PSPs because it puts payments performance and risk controls in the same bucket as product quality, not as a back-office afterthought.
- According to LuckyBet.ee, Estonia is its first step outside Latvia, and the company is already considering more regulated markets in the Nordics. That is the real subtext here: this is not just a local launch, but a base for further regulated-market expansion.
- Digitain’s Hamest Safaryan, Head of Sales for Central Europe, said the companies are building a long-term partnership and stressed Digitain’s support for LuckyBet.ee’s growth in Estonia. Dario Jurčić, Digitain’s Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and Africa, also described Estonia as an important regulated market in the European iGaming landscape.
For high-risk payments, Estonia is not the headline market by size, but it is useful as a regulated foothold. When an operator launches with sportsbook, CRM, affiliates, and payments wrapped into one stack, the PSP conversation shifts from “can you take the traffic?” to “can you support regulated growth without breaking the risk model?” That is usually where the real work begins.
